The Carleton Conservative Club exists to provide a welcoming and respectful space for students who share conservative values, including free expression, individual freedom and policies that promote an affordable and prosperous future for Canada’s youth. The club provides an environment where students can openly exchange ideas, learn from one another, and engage thoughtfully in campus dialogue while contributing positively to both the university community and the conservative movement. Located in the nation’s capital, the club also seeks to promote youth engagement in conservative politics by helping students better understand the political landscape and the opportunities available in Ottawa. Through networking events and party engagement, the club supports students interested in becoming involved with the conservative parties and aims to help them build connections and develop skills that can support future careers in conservative politics.
The Carleton Conservative Club is affiliated with the Conservative Party of Canada and the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario. The club organizes a wide range of on- and off-campus events, including pub nights, informational sessions, study events, debates and more. Through its party affiliations, the club regularly welcomes Members of Parliament and Members of Provincial Parliament to participate in and engage with students at events.
